About The role
Remitee is a rapidly expanding fintech company specializing in international payments and cross-border remittances across Latin America.
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team. You will be hands-on with our security stack across cloud, endpoints, identity, and AI governance, owning tooling like F5 WAAP, CrowdStrike Falcon XDR, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel.
You will lead threat hunting exercises, respond to major incidents, and help build the controls that keep Remitee compliant with ISO 27001 and BCRA regulations. If you like working across the full security surface of a growing fintech, this is the role.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and tune F5 WAAP (Advanced WAF XC), including bot defense, L7 DDoS mitigation, and declarative policies.
Manage CrowdStrike Falcon XDR (Insight, OverWatch, RTR), write custom IOAs, and integrate it with SOAR workflows.
Administer Microsoft Defender suite (Endpoint, Identity, O365, Cloud Apps) and Defender for Cloud (CSPM/CWPP).
Design and enforce Microsoft Intune + Conditional Access policies over Entra ID, including phishing-resistant MFA and App Protection.
Build use cases, analytic rules, and playbooks in Crowdstrike (SIEM/SOAR).
Lead technical investigation of major incidents (P1/P2) and run threat hunting and purple teaming exercises.
Harden Azure environments (Landing Zones, PIM, Key Vault, Private Endpoints, Azure Policy).
Implement security controls for corporate LLM/GenAI usage: AI gateway, DLP over prompts, shadow AI governance, applying OWASP Top 10 LLM, MITRE ATLAS, and NIST AI RMF.
Maintain evidence and control operation under ISO 27001:2022 and BCRA Communications A 7724/7783 and related updates.
Manage the full lifecycle of digital certificates (PKI): issuance, renewal, revocation, and inventory of TLS/SSL, code-signing, client-authentication, S/MIME and internal CA certificates in cloud workloads (Azure Key Vault, App Gateway, F5, load balancers, endpoints).
Prepare documentation and evidence for internal, external, and regulatory audits.
Must Have
Advanced hands-on experience with F5 WAAP (Advanced WAF XC).
Deep expertise in CrowdStrike Falcon XDR, including custom IOAs, RTR, and integrations.
Strong command of Microsoft Defender suite and Defender for Cloud.
Experience with Microsoft Intune and Conditional Access on Entra ID.
SOC background: incident response, SIEM/SOAR (ideally CrowdStrike SIEM), MTTD/MTTR metrics, and handling P1/P2 incidents.
Cloud security experience in Azure (Landing Zones, PIM, Key Vault, secure networking, Azure Policy).
Familiarity with ISO 27001 and BCRA regulatory requirements, including managing evidence and working with auditors.
Experience applying AI security frameworks to corporate GenAI usage (OWASP Top 10 LLM, MITRE ATLAS, or NIST AI RMF).
Nice to Have
AWS security experience.
Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, AZ-500, SC-200, or similar).
Background in DevSecOps or CI/CD pipeline security.
