Remitee is seeking a Performance Specialist to drive analytical excellence and insight generation across our entire Payments Operations ecosystem. This role is highly strategic and requires a strong ability to connect data, identify root causes, uncover patterns, and transform complex information into clear, actionable insights that enhance operational efficiency and partner performance.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical thinking, an end-to-end understanding of operational processes, and the ability to propose data-driven improvements that directly impact customer experience, partner relationships, and the scalability of our service.
Conduct holistic analysis of the payments operation, identifying trends, anomalies, correlations, and opportunities for improvement.
Design, build, and maintain performance metrics and dashboards (e.g., rejection rates, processing speed, SLA compliance, root-cause breakdowns).
Generate actionable insights by connecting information across multiple datasets, processes, and operational events.
Produce executive reports and data visualizations to support strategic decision-making.
Identify root causes of inefficiencies or operational issues and recommend evidence-based process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Product, Tech, Compliance, Commercial) to validate insights and drive performance initiatives.
Present key findings and performance results to internal leadership and, when needed, to external partners or clients.
Ensure quality, consistency, and governance of all data used for analysis.
Previous experience as a Performance Specialist, Data Analyst, or Operations Analyst, ideally within fintech, payments, or other data-driven environments.
Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
Proven ability to connect information, build hypotheses, identify patterns, and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver insights clearly through presentations and written reports.
Autonomous, critical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
