UX/UI Designer Specialist

Remitee, a rapidly expanding international payments Fintech, is seeking a UX/UI Designer Specialist.

As the UX/UI Designer - Cross-Border, you will play a pivotal role in shaping user experiences across multiple platforms. Your mission will be to create intuitive, engaging, and culturally relevant designs that enhance our users' interactions with Remitee’s products. You will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our design solutions not only meet user needs but also align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

User Experience Design:

o Develop intuitive user flows and wireframes for mobile, web, and desktop applications, ensuring a seamless user journey across platforms.

o Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, translating insights into actionable design decisions.

User Interface Design:

o Create visually appealing and brand-aligned interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

o Maintain consistency across all design touchpoints, ensuring a high-quality and cohesive user experience.

International Expertise:

o Design solutions that cater to the unique requirements of international markets, considering cultural nuances, regulations, and user behaviors.

o Adapt design strategies to effectively engage diverse user groups across different regions.

Collaboration and Communication:

o Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including product management, development, and support, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

o Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine solutions.

Continuous Improvement:

o Stay updated on the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design and cross-border markets.

o Encourage a culture of innovation by exploring new ideas and design methodologies to improve the user experience.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience working in digital-first commerce or service organizations, with a strong portfolio of delivering user-centered design solutions.
• Proven experience in leading design teams, with the ability to make strategic decisions and guide other designers through all stages of product development.( Not Mandatory)
• Strong portfolio showcasing experience in creating user-centered designs across mobile, web, and desktop platforms.
• Proficient in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite) and prototyping software.
• Solid understanding of UX writing principles and ability to create effective microcopy.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage design workflows, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.

Cultural Adaptability

Ability to design for diverse cultural contexts, understanding how user needs and behaviors vary across markets.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and consistency in all design outputs.
• Proactive and curious, with a mindset for exploring new trends and technologies to enhance user experience.

Language & Communication:

• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish required.
